Compulsory acquisition lawyers for landowners, tenants and businesses in NSW
We represent landowners and landholders impacted by compulsory acquisitions by Transport for NSW, EnergyCo, Transgrid, Sydney Water and other acquiring authorities, including land acquired for road upgrades, transmission line (electricity) easements and water infrastructure.
From the first contact by the acquiring authority through to final compensation, we guide you through the process under the Just Terms Act and negotiate with the acquiring authority on your behalf. We also assist with hardship applications where land is reserved for acquisition.
Under the Just Terms Act, the acquiring authority is required to pay your reasonable legal and valuation costs, and Rely Legal does not charge a gap fee.
