An EnergyCo Project
The New England Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) will be serviced by new network infrastructure, including transmission lines, energy hubs and enabling infrastructure which will transfer power generated by solar, wind and storage projects to electricity consumers. This infrastructure is required for the successful operation of the Renewable Energy Zone.
Some infrastructure will need to be built outside the New England Renewable Energy Zones geographical area to connect the Renewable Energy Zone to the main transmission network.
Areas affected by the New England Renewable Energy Zone Project
Landholders along the proposed New England REZ transmission corridor are located in and around Armidale, Uralla, Walcha, Woolbrook, Niangala, Timor, Waverly, Belltrees, Gundy, Rouchel, Rouchel Brook, McCullys Gap and Muswellbrook. Click the link below to view the proposed corridor.
Legal and Valuation Costs
Pursuant to the Just Terms Act, EnergyCo is required to pay the reasonable legal and valuation costs incurred by landowners in relation to the acquisition. This means you will not be responsible for any legal fees charged by Rely Legal.
